When your new home is not ready yet, we hold your belongings until it is.
Closing dates do not always line up. If your new home is not ready when you leave Chicago, MLV can hold your belongings until it is. Storage is an optional service at an extra cost, and we add it to your estimate when you ask for it.

How it works
- Tell us you may need storage when you request your quote, even if you are not sure yet.
- We include storage in your written estimate.
- Our crew loads your belongings and they go to storage.
- When your new home is ready, we schedule delivery and give you a delivery window.
Tip: plan storage from the start. It is much easier to include it in your plan than to arrange it at the last minute while your belongings are on the road.

Is storage included in my move?
No. Storage is optional and quoted separately, based on the size of your shipment and how long you need it.
Can I add storage after I book?
Yes. Call us as soon as you know, so we can update your estimate before moving day.
Can I get something out of storage before delivery?
Ask us when you book. We will tell you what is possible for your move.
